About Us

The Punkin Project is not your ordinary Cinderella carriage. Founded in 2017 by Dawn Sardinas and Wylie Weldy, this project was born out of a desire to serve the mobility challenged community members of YOUtopia, San Diego's Regional Burning Man event. After watching other vehicles struggle with the local terrain, they set out to create a vehicle that would transport participants throughout the created city. What they ended up with was the most famous carriage ever, Cinderella's pumpkin carriage.
